In case you didn’t know… Last year, Mayorga publicly accused Ronaldo of raping her in a Las Vegas hotel in 2009. She further alleged that the former Real Madrid superstar paid her $375,000 as part of a non-disclosure agreement after the incident. Ronaldo has since denied the allegations even as Las Vegas police reopened the investigation after the identity of the accused was revealed by Mayorga. Consulting firm Kearney performed a survey of manufacturing executives in America, in which 52 percent said they have already started to buy more supplies in the U.S. in response to COVID-related disruptions and 41 percent specifically wanted to end their dependence on China. Many companies moved offshore manufacturing to China and other countries with low wages to increase profits and keeping minimum inventory. With the COVID-19 pandemic, delays in transport have made overseas shipping and low inventories risky to keep up with demand....

The Honolulu Police Department announced Monday there were about 1,350 citations issued to people who violated Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s August 6 coronavirus emergency orders against gathering in large groups. According to police, the majority of citations over the weekend were given to residents who entered closed beaches or parks, or who assembled in groups of more than 10 people. KHON-TV reported that within 24 hours, more than 300 phone calls and 80 emails were sent to law enforcement about possible violations of the “Act With Care—Do Not Gather” order....
