Saint Kotar is a horror detective game developed by Red Martyr Studio and published by Soedesco. The indie horror title was first released on October 21st, 2021 for Microsoft Windows, seeing players navigate a cursed valley in rural Croatia in search of their lost relative. Console gamers will soon have the opportunity to play Saint Kotar as Soedesco has dropped both a release date and a new trailer for the title.

Indie publisher Soedesco unveiled a new trailer introducing the world of Saint Kotar to console players, featuring several story details such as our protagonists investigating the occult-ridden town of Sveti Kotar. Gamers will navigate this town while solving puzzles and switching realities in an attempt to discover what darkness lies in wait for the two leads of the story. The title shares similarities with horror classics such as Silent Hill or Resident Evil with Saint Kotar’s use of fixed camera perspectives and narrative centered around the loss of a loved one, though puts an intriguing spin on the formula with the mix of point and click adventure elements.
The trailer continues to ramp up in tension as the fear that God himself will strike our protagonist down for what decisions they’re forced to make settles in and more haunting imagery of skulls, mutilated bodies, and ritual sites floods the scene. While this is the most recent title Soedesco has published, the indie company has several other titles under its belt that players may recognize. These titles include Kaze and the Wild Masks, Monster Crown, and Wuppo: Definitive Edition. With Saint Kator, gamers will have a new title to experience in time for the Halloween season.
