That seems to be the question many fans have on their minds as well, with one going as far as asking directly. Unfortunately, the reply didn’t offer too much else in the way of answers, simply stating that the Crackdown 3 team wasn’t aware of what other teams were working on and that news would be rolling out in the coming months. As for right now, it appears that Microsoft’s big reveal tomorrow is purely hardware based.
Considering it’s one of Microsoft’s major first party offerings expected to release later this year, it’s entirely expected that Crackdown 3 will be a major player at E3 this year. With Microsoft’s E3 show falling on June 11 this year, one day earlier than normal, the plan to roll out more information on the game in the coming months lines up perfectly with the show.
Even with series founder, David Jones back behind the wheel, development on Crackdown 3 hasn’t been as smooth as expected. After multiple delays and missing a number of larger events such as E3, an insider revealed that development has been rocky. With its gamescom 2015 partner Scalebound getting the axe earlier this year, many began to wonder if the same fate awaited Crackdown 3. Thankfully, things appear to have turned around for the title, and with a ton of information on the way, fans should expect to learn and see a whole lot more about the destructible world of Crackdown 3 very soon.
